No shocking result in a game whenSalvadorenos (2-1) beat Brujos (0-3) in Izalco 70-56 on Friday. Salvadorenos dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Brujos ' 20. Salvadorenos forced 29 Brujos turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Salvadorenos made 12 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Venezuelan-Colombian center Michael Hinestroza (210-1990, college: UALR) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 9 blocks. Diego Rivera (-2007) accounted for 19 points for the winning side. American swingman Anthony Gathings (196, college: LCU, agency: Fully Feared Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Gustavo Galdamez (190-1996) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Brujos in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
